Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth consecutive win.

While the Rams had already secured a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this outcome, the Seahawks have taken over their division's race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an 11-4 record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to make two scoring throws, including the tying score to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a 55-yard touchdown run for the home side.

Los Angeles defensive back Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, leading to a short touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Nacua pushed the Rams' lead to 30-14, but Shaheed provided Seattle's hope with a spectacular punt return.
